When we are born into this world we all suffer from spiritual identity theft – without realising it. What is that identity, how is it stolen, and who has stolen it? Can we be involved, unwittingly, in the theft of the identity of others? Lynn and Michael Harris tell us about this theft and, in sharing her testimony, Lynn explains how it can happen and where it begins – in the mind.
Many believe the God of the Old Testament is a different God to the one in the New Testament. However, Jesus is the God of both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The stories of the anti–deluvians, Sodom, and Jericho, are only three of the many stories in the Old Testament that show the grace of God. It is important that we understand God’s unchanging character, which especially matters to those of us living in the last days.

Operation Food For Life has been supporting poor people, mainly in Port Moresby, since the 1990s. Dennis Perry and David Woolley, work mates at Sanitarium, saw poverty in the South Pacific firsthand and couldn’t forget their experience. By God’s grace, they determined to do something to help––and they did. Today OFFL is helping many children, families, prisoners and the sick, by providing food and accommodation, as well as introducing them to the love of God. They go to the people in Jesus’ name, being His hands and feet. Learn more about this ministry, and the work that is currently being done, from the founders’ themselves.
There is nothing more important in our lives than our relationship with God. He started the Ten Commandments with “I am the Lord your God”, and the first four can be summarised by “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength”. What does God’s law represent? How does it affect us today and into the future life? Through examples of God’s love in the lives of Abraham and Job, learn the answers to these questions and more.

There is nothing wrong with these, but there are some who take time to help strangers. One such couple are Pr Lionel Smith and his wife, Doreen. They are not alone, as they have a whole village of retirees who make their work of helping others possible. Maybe Pr Smith’s story will inspire you with ideas of what YOU can do to help a stranger in need.
A praying Grandma, or parent, can have a lasting influence in a child’s life. Pr Keith Godfrey’s is an example of that. Listen to his story and find out what one godly Grandma can do to help spread the Gospel. Remember to pray for the salvation of YOUR loved ones.
