3ABN Australia Homecoming 2023: “God’s Plan for Marriage”

In a rapidly changing world, is God’s original plan and recipe for marriage still relevant in our post-modern 21st century world? Is it time for Christians to accept and support the prevailing western world view that seeks to redefine and broaden marriage? In discussing events in connection with the Second Coming, Jesus declared to His disciples that ‘heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’ (Matt. 24:35) He also shared that as we draw nearer to the coming of Jesus, ‘lawlessness will abound’ which will result in the ‘love of many growing cold.’ (Matt 24:12) Genuine unconditional love appears to be in short supply. What did Jesus have to say about marriage? Are the marriage principles in Scripture still the best recipe for a peaceful and prosperous society? What does the evidence demonstrate? We will discover the beauty and blessing of God’s original plan for humanity.
